Savour the sweeping mountain roads to historic Ronda

From the beaches of the coast we take the spectacular mountain road to Ronda, renowned for its dramatic clifftop location and stunning architecture. Drive through the spectacular pine forests and rugged limestone peaks of the Sierra de La Nieves national park, each bend revealing more of Andalucía’s breathtaking scenery.
First stop: Enjoy a scenic lunch and explore Ronda
For lunch, we will indulge in the local cuisine at a charming restaurant overlooking the gorge. Savor traditional Andalusian dishes, such as jamón ibérico, gazpacho, and freshly caught fish, all while enjoying the mesmerizing views that surround you. The combination of delicious food and stunning landscapes creates a perfect dining experience. After lunch, take time to explore Ronda’s rich history. Visit the historic bullring, one of the oldest in Spain, and learn about the significance of bullfighting in Andalusian culture. Stroll through the old town, marveling at the stunning architecture and picturesque squares. Don’t forget to stop by the breathtaking viewpoints that overlook the gorge, where you can truly appreciate the beauty of this enchanting town.
Ronda to Gaucin– The White Village
Your afternoon stop is the charming village of Gaucín, perched high on a mountain ridge. The drive is a thrilling ascent through winding roads, offering sweeping views of the lush valleys below. Upon arrival, you’re greeted by the sight of whitewashed houses adorned with vibrant flowers, creating a postcard-perfect scene.
In Gaucín, take a leisurely stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets, breathing in the fresh mountain air. Visit the historic castle that overlooks the village, where the panoramic views of the surrounding Sierra Crestellina mountains will leave you in awe. Take a moment to capture the beauty with your camera, as the scene is straight out of a dream.
We then make our way down to the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean and enjoy a last thrilling drive along the coast road back to Marbella.
